I came across this on eBay and after much scrutiny, I still cannot ascertain if it is true or not. From the eBay post, yes, it seems Lord Finesse (of D.I.T.C.) is selling his Emu SP1200. Yes, THAT particular SP1200 which Lord Finesse used to create sick beats for many of Hip Hop's finest. I had always thought that the SP1200 is an extension of Lord Finesse's creative prowess, like an extra limb and I had thought that it would be virtually impossible to separate Lord Finesse and his SP1200, but I guess I was wrong. Lord Finesse selling his SP1200: is this a sign that the world is coming to an end soon?
Apocalypse aside, I believe this has created some kinda buzz amount those in the know. People are speculating as to what he would be using since he is selling his trusty SP1200. Could it be Pro Tools, Logic or Fruity Loops? Or maybe he might stick to the hardware template, MPC2500, SP-303, 808, 404? Well, we will know in time to come, that is if Armageddon doesn't break out.
