Fantasie-Impromptu

Well, it has, surprisingly, been a great long weekend for myself, and I hope it has been the same for you too.

Here is a lil something different from the stuff we usually put up. = )

The piano solo composition, Fantasie-Impromptu in C-sharp Minor Opus 66, by piano virtuoso, Frederic Francois Chopin, is one of my favourite piano pieces from the Romantic era. Frederic Chopin, also happens to be one of my favourite composers, as his composition demands not only a high level of technical skill, but also a high level of understanding, of which is needed to interpret the expressive depth of his piano compositions.

For many years, I have been trying to master this piano piece. Unfortunately, I do not even come close to mastering it, due to my inadequate level of technical skill. However, all is not lost. I might not be able to play it well at all, but at least, I can still appreciate the beauty of the music. In particular, I really like Li Yundi's interpretation and performance of this piece.
