I got to know about the Mosaic Music Festival's line-up for 2010, and boy, am I excited about it. Of the whole line-up, I know for sure I would definitely be attending two of the shows. I have decided to break it into 2 parts to introduce the two acts which got me all excited.
The first of the two acts would be Breakestra.
Los Angeles based Breakestra are an eight-piece funk ensemble, was formed in 1996 by the highly versatile Miles Tackett and fronted by vocalist, Mixmaster Wolf. Their style are based upon deep funk, soul and jazz.
Their album, The Live Mix Part 1 & Part 2, is a compilation of breaks and funk covers and truly displays the energy of their live performances. This is a definite must go for all funkalists and B-Boys.
