Today is International Human Rights Day and the Bristol trio, Portishead, has released a single in conjunction with Amnesty International, to commemorate this day.
Portishead - Chase The Tear
The single, Chase The Tear, can only be downloaded from 7digital, with all the proceeds going to Amnesty International, which would be used to fund their human rights work.
The International Human Rights Day marks the anniversary of the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights", which states that everyone is entitled to fundamental rights including the right to life, liberty, security, the freedom of opinion, association and expression. It also states that everyone should be entitled the right to not be subjected to cruelty, torture or inhumane treatment.
Spread some love to all our brothers and sisters out there.
