It all began with...

First up, a very big welcome to all who have taken the time to grace this blog. What began as an idea to start a clothing label, during one of our usual coffee sessions, eventually evolved into what we have here right now.

We did not want to be just solely a clothing label, because there is so much more to life than just the corporate dollar. We believe that Asia has much more to offer than what it is out there right now, not to say that there ain’t nothing good coming out of Asia. It is just that, with a population of almost 4 billion people (that is 60% of the world’s population), the numbers are just not proportionate. We figured that there are a lotta people, including ourselves, who believe in doing all that is not commercial but are not given the opportunity to showcase their stuff. Hence the concept of The Mighty Souls was born. To others, it may be a tall order but it is better than sitting on our asses and complaining about whatever that is going on and getting nowhere at the end of the day.

The movers of souls and legends before us provide the inspiration for The Mighty Souls. Conceptually, we are a collective; a collective that is not you, me or him but rather us, a unified entity. Or as the Rastas would say: I & I, the concept of oneness, where we are all one people.

Ultimately, we wish to collaborate with like-minded people who share our vision, be it music, design, art or projects for the community. Fashion fads come and go like the wind; fervent passion, philosophies and ideologies are etched into the echelons of time and serves as a legacy for future generations. You only live once, make your mark through your passion in this lifetime.
